From your arrival in Tromsø, you will be accompanied by a professional photographer who knows both the technique and the art of capturing the northern lights. Ideal for beginners and experienced photographers alike, this workshop will guide you step by step: lighting, composition, low-light focusing, exposure times and exciting framing. Every night, the sky invites you to go out into the field in search of the most spectacular phenomenon of the Arctic, while inside a warm shelter awaits you, with hot drinks and the possibility of sharing stories by the fire.

During the day, you'll explore the region's most breathtaking landscapes: snow-capped fjords, nearby mountains and icy shores glistening in the dim northern light. You'll learn how to take advantage of that soft light to enhance your landscape photos.

What will you learn and experience?

• Mastering night photography: long exposure, ISO, manual focus and use of different lenses.
• Specific techniques to capture the movement and colors of the aurora.
• Creative composition: include human silhouettes, mountains, trees or reflections.
• Developing and editing in programs such as Lightroom, to transform your images into true works of art.
• Overnight trips to remote locations, monitoring of forecasts and weather adaptability.
